Alec Baldwin Case
It was interesting to read Alec Baldwin’s comment in The Times following the verdict of his trial, saying he will “treat future photographers differently next time and call the police.”
If he really felt fear, as he says he did, why wouldn’t he react the same way next time? Particularly if he felt he was in the right. This also leads to an interesting question: How will he react when the police tell him there is nothing they can do because the photographer is not doing anything wrong and certainly not doing anything illegal?
It’s too bad that in our society celebrities and athletes are placed above the law.
