A public hearing on the needs of individuals and families with low and poverty-level incomes will be held tonight at the Commission on Human Concerns’ administrative offices in Oxnard.
The commission’s board of directors will solicit input on gaps and duplications in services to low- and poverty-income families as well as strategies for meeting needs.
Concerns raised at the public hearing will be addressed in the agency’s 1997 local plan, which will be completed by June 30.
The 7 p.m. meeting will be at the commission’s conference room at 621 Richmond Ave. in Oxnard.
