Stake in Irvine Firm Cut

IRVINE — A group including Tweedy Browne Co. reduced its stake in National Education Corp. to 4.23%, according to documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The group said it sold 1.35 million common shares of National Education from March 13 to April 15 at prices ranging from $10.625 to $13 a share. The group said it now holds 1.41 million shares of Irvine-based National Education, which provides computer and business education training.
