Softball
Remmel, from Santiago High, spent two seasons with the Rancho Santiago basketball team and was the Dons’ top rebounder last season. She has turned her attention to softball and is helping the Dons, who are battling for a playoff spot in the Orange Empire Conference. Remmel was five for five in two victories last week. She had three hits and scored all three runs as Rancho Santiago beat Golden West, 3-1, Friday. She had two hits in a 3-0 victory over Irvine Valley Wednesday.
Tennis
Noelle Saduddin
* Saddleback, freshman. She won her singles and doubles matches to complete the regular season 11-1 in singles and 9-1 in doubles.
