Mitsubishi Seeks to Limit Comment: Mitsubishi Motor Manufacturing of America Inc. filed an emergency request to prevent attorneys for 29 women suing the company from talking to the media about allegations of sexual harassment at its Normal, Ill., plant. The private lawsuit against Mitsubishi was filed in December 1994. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed a separate sexual harassment lawsuit April 9. The company’s request will be heard Friday in U.S. District Court in Peoria, Ill. It statements by a plaintiffs’ attorney threaten its chance to get a fair trial.
