Applicants Sought for Commission Positions

Applications to fill upcoming vacancies on four city commissions will be accepted through June 7, the City Council has decided.
Effective July 1, the terms of eight incumbants will expire on the council-appointed Planning Commission, Cultural Arts Commission, Recreation and Parks Commission, and Traffic Safety Commission. A teen position will also become vacant on the traffic safety panel.
Council members are expected to make the appointments June 18.
