National Education Corp.: The Irvine provider of multimedia products and services for the education and training markets posted first-quarter net income of $665,000, or 2 cents a share, contrasted with a net loss of $6.2 million, or 21 cents a share, for the 1995 first quarter. Revenue increased 6%, to $59.4 million from $56 million. The company said that each of its three major business segments had higher profit.
