Q: Is there more violence in the streets or “lunacy” when there is a full moon?
A: No. According to Prevention’s Giant Book of Health Facts, a review of 37 studies found no link between the phases of the moon and violent crime, suicides, calls to crisis center hotlines, psychiatric disorders or mental hospital admissions.
