Police arrested four men suspected in a string of Orange County restaurant robberies in which some female employees were sexually assaulted, authorities announced Wednesday.
The men, all in their 20s, were linked to several holdups since October in restaurants in Fullerton, Buena Park, Laguna Beach, Irvine and Huntington Beach, police said.
The latest one occurred on March 16, when four people robbed the National Sports Bar in Fullerton.
Following a six-month investigation, officers from Fullerton, Newport Beach and Irvine arrested Roman Perez Barba, 24, of Anaheim, and Salvador Albarran Valdivia, 26, Apolinar Lopez Maya, 24, and Omar Adamecastro, 22, all of Costa Mesa. They are held at the Newport Beach City Jail in lieu of $750,000 each.
Police said they found two handguns and other evidence while serving a search warrant at Valdivia’s home.
