CHP Seeking Car Theft Information

The California Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help in finding the people who left a stripped, stolen car in Camarillo on Monday night or Tuesday morning.
A 1993 black Ford Mustang convertible stolen from its Canoga Park owner was discovered Tuesday morning near an open field on Petit Street near Dawson Drive, adjacent to the southbound Ventura Freeway offramp, said CHP Officer Dave Cockrill.
Anyone who saw the vehicle being abandoned in Camarillo or saw suspicious people in the Petit Street and Dawson Drive area Monday night or Tuesday morning should call Cockrill or Officer Jerry Wood at 654-4571.
