Blyleven, Ferragamo to Lead Walk-a-Thon

Sports figures Bert Blyleven and Vince Ferragamo will lead a 3-mile Walk-a-Thon through Old Towne Saturday to raise money for Orange Cares, which helps a number of charitable endeavors, and the Orange Senior Center.
The daylong Fun Fest ’96 will also feature live music, a crafts fair, food booths and a yard sale at the senior center.
The sale will begin at 7 a.m. at the center, 170 S. Olive St. Registration for the Walk-a-Thon, which costs $10, is at 9 a.m., with a kick-off set for 9:30 a.m. The fair will continue until 3 p.m.
