Rohrabacher Not Fit to Serve
Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Huntington Beach) has stated that he knew in advance about the plan to draft Laurie Campbell, Scott Baugh’s longtime friend, as a candidate to split the Democratic vote in the state Assembly election, but he advised against it. He said that despite his opposition, his campaign manager, Rhonda Carmony, went ahead with the ill-advised scheme anyway.
This all means that either Rohrabacher has lost control over his staff, which would greatly reduce his effectiveness, or that he is lying, as a political aide doesn’t usually even breathe without her boss’s explicit permission.
Either way, Rohrabacher doesn’t seem fit to be a congressman, as he has lost all credibility.

* For a party that attempts to portray itself as the cornerstone of American democracy, the GOP has done more to undermine the intent of our Constitution than almost anything else I can think of.
The founding fathers of America established a country run by the people and for the people, not purchased by certain people. Somewhere along the line, certain political figures have decided that democracy is for sale and they are willing to pay whatever price is necessary to run our government their way. Little regard is given to what the people want; those with money are paying to ensure they get what they want.
