Leadership Academy Holds Open House

The second season of the Ventura County Leadership Academy begins Wednesday with an open house in Oxnard.
The information and networking session will provide applicants with details about the countywide leadership development program.
The monthly leadership academy gives prospective leaders insight into education, agriculture, economic development and other issues and topics facing the county through field trips and discussions with decision-makers.
Classes begin in September, and applications are being accepted. Registration cost is $650 until June 30, then $750. Financial assistance is available.
The open house is scheduled for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Honda of Oxnard and Saturn of Oxnard on AutoCenter Drive, which is off the Ventura Freeway at the Rose Avenue exit.
