Workshop to Provide Home-Schooling Tips

Parents interested in home schooling their children can attend a workshop Tuesday that will teach them how to keep records on their child’s progress, plan a curriculum and choose instructional materials.
The workshop will be sponsored by the Community Home Education Program, which is affiliated with the Pleasant Valley School District.
The district encourages parents interested in home schooling to use its curriculum and other resources, such as a credentialed teacher who can answer questions.
The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in Room 8 of El Rancho Structured School in Camarillo.
