American Health Merger Nearly Completed

NEWPORT BEACH — Shareholders of American Health Service Corp. and Dallas-based Maxum Health Corp. approved the merger of the two companies.
Maxum said the two companies will merge with subsidiaries of InSight Health Services Corp., a company formed for the purpose of completing the merger. The merger is expected to close before the end of the month.
Newport Beach-based American Health provides diagnostic imaging and treatment services. Maxum provides radiology and related management services.
