Big Hits Key 15-7 Torching of Blaze

The big hits came early and often for the JetHawks in a 15-7 victory over the Bakersfield Blaze at Sam Lynn Ballpark, giving the JetHawks eight victories in 10 games against the Blaze.
The JetHawks (7-6) pounded out 17 hits, including Doug Carroll’s three-run home run, Carlos Villalobos’ two-run triple, Jesus Marquez’s three-run double, Scot Sealy’s two-run single and James Clifford’s two-run single.
Jason Cook, Clifford and Villalobos each had three hits. Eight of the nine players in the JetHawk starting lineup had hits.
Starting pitcher Marino Santana (6-9) gave up five runs in six innings, but picked up the victory.
