Relishing National Hot Dog Month

July is National Hot Dog Month, according to the folks over at Weinerschnitzel, the Newport Beach-based fast-food restaurant chain. And in honor of the celebration, Weinerschnitzel has published a brief Encyclopedia of Hot Dogs.
One timely fact, given Tuesday’s All-Star Game: During a regular major league baseball season, about 26 million hot dogs will be served up at ballparks. That’s enough, the encyclopedia states, to stretch from New York’s Yankee Stadium to Dodger Stadium in Chavez Ravine.
