Buyers are snapping up Valley homes and condominiums (D7A), but prices continue to fall. The median price of a single-family home--which means that half the homes sold were more expensive and half were less--was $141,500 in June, down 17% from the previous year. . . . The median price for condominiums was down 3% from last year.
Eat, Eat
Jerry’s Deli, where President Isaac Starkman says the motto is “More and more food,” is considering more and more locations (D1). Jerry’s was founded by Starkman and a partner in Studio City in 1978 and in recent years has expanded to West Los Angeles, Westwood and Pasadena. . . . The company recently acquired the two Solley’s delis.
