TAMPA, Fla. — Tipper the cat, who speed-dialed 911 to save his life last summer, arrived home unscathed after what his owners believe was a kidnapping ordeal, a sheriff’s spokeswoman said Friday.
The 6-month-old cat returned home at the Flying Cloud Mobile Home Park on Thursday afternoon, two days after he disappeared from a tether outdoors.
Tipper had become famous July 8 when he saved himself from choking on his flea collar by dialing an emergency operator, who sent rescuers after hearing the cat’s cries.
