El Camino Real 14, Birmingham 6--Quarterback Jared Maiden threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Demond Daniels in the third quarter and visiting El Camino Real (5-3, 3-2) held off a late Birmingham rally.
Birmingham drove 71 yards in 11 plays to El Camino Real’s nine-yard line with 1:42 to play.
But quarterback Scott Doherty threw three incomplete passes and was stopped on a keeper for no gain.
El Camino Real ran out the final 42 seconds.
Emmanuel Evans rushed for 105 yards in 23 carries for the Braves (4-4, 2-3).
