Paraclete 23, Kern Valley 22--Matt Horner’s 20-yard field goal with seven minutes remaining gave the Spirits (5-3, 3-0) a come-from-behind victory at Kern Valley.
Dominic Washington rushed 23 times for 199 yards and two touchdowns for Paraclete, which trailed, 22-7, at halftime.
Paraclete’s Sean Fraser completed three of seven passes for 50 yards, including a 44-yard scoring play to Jesse Loa.
Kern Valley fell to 4-4, 2-1.
