** 1/2 Electronic, “Raise the Pressure,” Warner Bros. The second teaming of ex-Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr and New Order singer Bernard Sumner five years after a promising debut sounds more like two solo projects, half post-Smiths strumminess and half New Order electro-dance. There are prime examples of each. Still, the separate approaches seem less striking than the sum of the parts could be.
Albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good) and four stars (excellent).
