Palmdale Man Killed in Accident

A 29-year-old Palmdale man was killed early Friday when the vehicle he was driving crossed into the center divider on the Antelope Valley Freeway and hit a bridge abutment over Barrel Springs Road near Lake Palmdale.
Michael Clabaugh was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the 1:45 a.m. accident, said Officer Jim Grose of the California Highway Patrol. Clabaugh was traveling north on the freeway in a Jeep Wrangler when the vehicle hit the abutment next to southbound lanes.
No other details were available.
