Trolley Service to Be Offered for Holidays
- Share via
Holiday shoppers in Covina will get a blast from the past next weekend, when a trolley car route opens between Covina Park and the city’s downtown.
The car is modeled on the Red Line trolley cars that once ran through Los Angeles County, traveling along Badillo Street in Covina.
The city ran the trolley line last summer, and the route was so successful that it has been expanded it for the holiday program. On Saturdays, when an arts and crafts fair takes over Covina Park, trolley service will be offered between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
