Crescenta Valley 28, Hoover 0--Kenny Pritchett rushed for 238 yards and three touchdowns in 32 carries, setting a school single-season rushing record in the process at Glendale High.
Pritchett scored on a four-yard run on the second play of the second quarter. He added a three-yard scoring run 11 minutes later, giving Crescenta Valley (5-4, 3-1) a 14-0 halftime lead.
Pritchett capped a nine-play, 91-yard drive with his 18th touchdown run of the season, this one from five yards out. The 5-foot-11, 155-pound junior has gained 1,557 yards in 242 carries, breaking the previous mark of 1,550 yards set by Gary Beck in 1975.
Jasen Bryant led Hoover (1-8, 0-4) by rushing for 23 yards in seven carries.
