In Golden West girls’ volleyball: Ocean View 3, Saddleback 0--Tracy Lindquist had 12 digs and 27 assists as Ocean View (17-0, 10-0) won its third consecutive league title. Elsa Paredes had five kills for Saddleback (3-13, 1-9).

In Orange League water polo:

Valencia 20, Savanna 10--Matt Worthington scored six goals and Matt Janeway five for host Valencia (10-12, 4-4).

In the North Orange County water polo tournament:

Esperanza 13, Riverside Poly 5--Brian Mericle scored six goals to lead Esperanza (13-5). Matt Schoeneman had nine saves in the goal for Esperanza.

In nonleague water polo:

Capistrano Valley 6, Newport Harbor 5--Xander Dean scored two goals for Capistrano Valley. Goalkeeper Eric Meadows had nine saves for the Cougars.

El Toro 16, Trabuco Hills 6--Brian Weathersby scored four goals for El Toro (19-7). Mark Van Nostran scored two goals for Trabuco Hills (13-14).

La Habra 16, Riverside J.W. North 5--Josh Drysol scored five goals and Dave Ploog added four for La Habra (16-8).

Mission Viejo 8, Villa Park 7--Bryan Casserly scored three goals for unranked Mission Viejo (14-13) in an upset victory over second-ranked Villa Park (21-6), which was playing without Nick Pacelli, who was ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct from the Spartans’ previous game.
