Wood Ranch Project Not Free of Foes
I wish to take issue with the Nov. 5 article (“652-Home Wood Ranch Project Winning Support on All Fronts”).
The thrust of the article was that there was no opposition to this project. In fact, there’s a tremendous amount of opposition from the people who live in the Bridle Path home development, which is where I live. We have an 1,800-acre mountain park that is adjacent to this area to be developed. And right now, we have open space where we can ride horses, with unlimited vistas and the chance to view wildlife in its natural setting.
As soon as this project takes place, we’re going to end up having one more area developed so that the city can continue to increase its coffers and expand its budget. It doesn’t seem like a very good trade-off.
