Immigrants

Frank del Olmo’s Oct. 27 column on the GOP attitude toward immigrants is misleading. He uses the word immigrants as if that were the thrust of the GOP objections. If the objections were to immigrants, that would mean everyone in this country except Native Americans. Obviously this was not the intent.
The GOP is objecting to illegal immigrants, not those who are here legally. He is confusing bread with stones.
I doubt that anyone believes that this country, especially Southern California, can support unlimited numbers of people.
