It Wasn’t That Much of a Break

The Kings took advantage of their five-day mini-break by returning to basics in their Monday practice at the Iceoplex in Van Nuys. Most of the team worked with instructional coach Robby Glantz and his staff on power-skating drills for nearly 40 minutes after a team workout.
“We have been working with them for a couple of years,” Glantz said. “Whenever they have breaks like this, we come in and they get some retraining on technique. Today, they worked really hard.”
The Kings (7-7-3) will play Toronto Thursday at the Forum.
