Sandbags Available to Combat Flooding

Free sandbags for protection against possible flooding are available to residents at four locations through the city’s Public Works Department.
Residents can fill up to 10 bags per household at the Municipal Service Center, 13802 Newhope St., and at fire stations at 11805 Gilbert St., 12132 Trask Ave. and 12191 Valley View St.
Proof of residency may be requested, and residents should bring a shovel because they must fill the bags themselves. Information: (714) 741-5375.
