He’s ‘Feeling Better,’ Sinatra Says; Tells Media to Go Home
- Share via
Frank Sinatra, recuperating at home after eight days in the hospital, said Tuesday he was feeling better--and he encouraged the media staking out his Beverly Hills estate to hit the road.
“My doctor recommended that I go home--and I suggest the same thing for the cameras camped out at the end of my driveway. Besides, Mike Tyson needed my room,” Sinatra quipped in a statement. “Seriously, though, I’m feeling better and thank everyone for their concern. It’s great to be home.”
Sinatra, who was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Nov. 1 for what his publicist said was a pinched nerve, was released Saturday. During his stay, rumors circulated that he was seriously ill but Sinatra requested that no information on his condition be released.
