Valley Goes Cruising on Santa Monica, 58-19

It was a record-breaking night for Valley College on Saturday in its 58-19 victory over Santa Monica in a Western State Conference Southern Division game.
Marcus Harvey rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns in 14 carries. Harvey set a Valley record with 2,194 yards in his career and surpassed the 1,000-yard plateau for the second consecutive season with 1,098 yards.
Harvey had a 90-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter, the longest run in history for Valley (9-1, 5-0).
Valley’s Matt Kohl kicked seven extra points to set a national junior college career record with 103.
David Lins completed 19 of 29 passes for 388 yards and four touchdowns.
