Opportunity for Volunteering

Bridge Focus’ Single Parent Connection Program, based in Van Nuys, needs volunteers one evening a week for 12 consecutive weeks from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. starting in January. Volunteers will be trained to help the COSTARS curriculum, which includes age-appropriate discussion groups for identifying and exploring feelings about oneself, family awareness, staying safe and healthy and the development of social skills and self-esteem.
