Orange Coast College is hosting a Home and Hearth Winter Faire Saturday to raise funds for construction of a new campus day-care center.
Music boxes, stuffed animals, picture frames, clocks and other decorative items will be on sale, along with holiday plants grown in the college greenhouse. Seasonal food, including turkey dinners, muffins, breads, pastries, tarts, strudels and sausages, will be served.
The campus is trying to raise money for its $2.82-million Children Center, a day-care facility for low-income Orange Coast College students.
The winter festival will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Technology Center on campus, 2701 Fairview Road.
