With Week Off, They’ll Be Tanned, Rested and Ready

With a week between games, the Mighty Ducks are getting a rare three days off. Their next game is Friday against Calgary at the Pond, and their next practice is Tuesday.
“I’m going to Palm Springs, and so are some of the players, and some others are going to Las Vegas,” Coach Ron Wilson said. “This time of year, with so many people sick, time in the sun could do us good.”
It will also do goalie Guy Hebert good after sitting out two games because of the effects of a concussion. He’s expected to be fine for the next game.
“The holidays always seem like a tough time to play,” Hebert said. “You have family things and a lot of distractions. This is a good opportunity to relax and take care of your shopping.”
