Public Works Road Crews

* During this season of reflection, I want to thank the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works road maintenance crews. These individuals provide exemplary service maintaining our roads and keeping them clear of rocks and debris. Unfortunately, they rarely, if ever, get recognition for their excellent work, which is essential to the high quality of life we enjoy in our beautiful surroundings. Although firefighters and police get much deserved praise, these individuals tirelessly work all hours and weekends as a service to our community. They, in essence, are unheralded heroes.
