CSUN Interviews Set for This Week

Cal State Northridge Athletic Director Paul Bubb has finalized the dates for the interviews of the three finalists for the school’s football coaching position.

Former Wake Forest defensive coordinator Chris Allen will go Tuesday, followed by Valley Coach Jim Fenwick on Wednesday and Missouri associate head coach Skip Hall on Thursday.

Bubb expects to name a coach Friday or Saturday.

Wide receiver Eric Ruhle of Valley College has signed a letter of intent with San Jose State.

Ruhle, a 1995 graduate of Oak Park High, had 54 receptions for 1,128 yards and 13 touchdowns for Valley (10-1). He was an All-Western State Conference South Division selection.

Pierce College wide receiver Leon Weathersby has accepted a scholarship to Bowling Green. Weathersby earned WSC honorable mention honors this season.

Basketball

Antelope Valley College is ranked No. 1 in the state according to the latest men’s poll released by the Junior Athletic Bureau.

The Marauders (17-3) have won nine games in a row.

Antelope Valley plays host to No. 9 Chaffey on Wednesday at 7.
