Greco’s 18-Point Night Lights Up Pasadena, 51-19

Junior forward Michelle Greco of Crescenta Valley High scored one fewer point than the entire Pasadena girls’ basketball team in a 51-19 Pacific League victory Friday night at Crescenta Valley.
Greco, Cal-Hi Sports’ state freshman and sophomore player of the year, also had 11 rebounds. Freshman forward Sinnamonn Garrett had 14 rebounds for the Falcons (18-2, 5-0 in league play).
Erica Hightower led the Bulldogs (11-11, 2-3) with 12 points.

Kennedy 78, Granada Hills 40--Vanessa Dunn had 17 points, five rebounds and four steals, and Akane Maruyama added 15 points for the Golden Cougars (16-3, 4-0) in a Northwest Valley Conference game at Granada Hills.
El Camino Real 51, Birmingham 41--Cara Blumfield had 25 points and Justina Williams had 11 rebounds for the Conquistadores (10-0, 4-0) in a Northwest Valley Conference game at El Camino Real.
Chatsworth 48, San Fernando 41--Irene Rodriguez had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Chancellors (9-9, 2-2) in a Northwest Valley Conference game at Chatsworth.
Grant 56, Reseda 26--Nakeisha Perkins had 17 points, eight rebounds and five steals, and Jenny Mallon added 14 points for the Lancers (12-6, 3-1) in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game at Reseda (0-4 in conference play).
Poly 60, Monroe 49--Monie Simmons had 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Parrots (6-8, 3-1) in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game at Poly.
Moorpark 87, Santa Clara 38--Damaris Hinojosa had 25 points and 14 rebounds, and Tracey Milburn had 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Musketeers (16-2, 4-1) in a Frontier League game at Moorpark.
Nordhoff 64, Santa Paula 27--Erin Barker scored 21 points for the Rangers (16-3, 5-0) in a Frontier League game at Nordhoff.
Faith Baptist 60, Campbell Hall 40--Elene Savoie had 23 points and 19 rebounds to lead the Contenders (12-6, 1-2) in a Delphic League game at Faith Baptist. Teammate Dayna Horner had 16 points and eight steals.
Paraclete 48, Mojave 46--Kim Whisler had 27 points and 12 rebounds for the Spirits (13-2, 4-0) in a High Desert League game at Paraclete.
It was the first defeat for Mojave (15-1, 3-1).
Burroughs 54, Burbank 44--Chantel Jimenez scored 14 points, and Melolini Malaki had 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Indians (13-6, 4-1) in a Foothill League game at Burbank.
Notre Dame 42, Chaminade 38--Chantea Tolliver had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Knights (7-11, 2-3) in a Mission League game.
Harvard-Westlake 60, Flintridge Sacred Heart 45--Brooke Porter had 25 points and seven steals for the Wolverines (15-6, 4-1) in a Mission League game at Harvard-Westlake.
Providence 55, Windward 53--Freshman Kari Vander Borght made a 15-foot jump shot with three seconds to play to lift the Pioneers (7-7, 2-3) in a Liberty League game at Providence.
