Numskull and Crossbones

Arrgh, mateys! Avast these Disney scoundrels! If we want to chase beautiful damsels for our pleasures, we’ll bleedin’ well do so! And I pity the poor, wretched politically correct, land-lubbin’ fool who tries to stop us! Arrgh!!
Now, who can argue with that?
Dana Parsons is to be congratulated for taking on Disneyland and its numskull decision to make “The Pirates of the Caribbean” more politically correct (Jan. 5). Like myself and many other clear-thinking adults, he couldn’t help but question Disneyland’s logic (for lack of a better word) behind changing what is essentially a harmless portrayal of pirate life that has been entertaining millions of people for the past 30 years.
My advice to Disneyland is simple: If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Arrgh!!
