Elizabeth Taylor Suffers Seizure

Actress Elizabeth Taylor, who underwent surgery recently to remove a brain tumor, was readmitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after she suffered a mild seizure Saturday afternoon, a hospital spokesman said.
Cedars-Sinai spokesman Ron Wise said the two-time Academy Award winner was alert and focused.
“She seems perfectly stable and functional,” he said.
Such seizures are not uncommon after the kind of brain surgery the 65-year-old Taylor had, Wise said, adding that her hospital stay should be brief.
The actress underwent a four-hour operation Feb. 20 at Cedars-Sinai to remove a benign brain tumor near her right ear.
