Group Offers Aid to Needy Home Buyers

Affordable Housing USA, a nonprofit charity that provides social services to needy families, is offering first-time home buyers across Ventura County assistance with their down payments.
The assistance is part of the charity’s California Dream program, which provides as much as $4,000 for home buyers who earn less than $60,000 annually.
Applications are available this week at Affordable Housing USA, 235 W. 7th St., Oxnard. For information, call 247-1866.
