Benefit to Send Teens to Estancia grad Nite

The Estancia High School Grad Nite Committee is hosting a fund-raiser Monday at Avila’s El Ranchito Restaurant.
Proceeds from meals and drinks benefit Estancia seniors who cannot afford to attend graduation-related festivities in June. Parents, students and businesses also are raising funds through donations, bingo games and newspaper recycling drives.
“It’s really to help the kids who cannot afford it,” said Maria Elena Avila, owner of El Ranchito.
The fund-raiser is from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 2101 Placentia Ave. Information: (714) 645-0209.
