Two Longest Streaks May Be on the Line

The Ducks’ eight-game unbeaten streak--the longest in their history--is the second-longest current streak in the NHL.
Unless the Kings beat Detroit tonight at the Forum, there will be a matchup of the two longest current streaks Wednesday at the Pond.
The Red Wings are unbeaten in their last 10, including a 1-1 tie against the Ducks on March 2 at Joe Louis Arena.

Ken Baumgartner returned to the lineup after missing 11 games because of a broken hand, but moved back to forward instead of playing defense. J.F. Jomphe scratched to make room for him.
