The Open Gate Theatre presents a night of free-thinking jazz Saturday with cornetist-composer Bobby Bradford’s Mo’tet, featuring guitarist Nels Cline and reedman Vinny Golia, and trombonist Michael Vatkovitch’s trio, with bassist Anders Swanson, at the American Legion Hall, 131 N. Morengo Ave., Pasadena at 8 p.m.
