Dole Takes Job With Law Firm

Bob Dole is unemployed no more. The former Senate majority leader and 1996 Republican presidential nominee signed on as special counsel with the Washington law firm of Verner, Liipfert, Bernhard, McPherson & Hand. Fellow employees will include former Democratic Sens. George J. Mitchell of Maine and Lloyd Bentsen of Texas. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
