Comprehensive Care’s Third-Quarter Income $1.1 Million in Black

CORONA DEL MAR — Comprehensive Care Corp., a specialty health maintenance organization, reported third-quarter net income of $1.1 million, or 34 cents a share, including a gain of $2.2 million from debenture conversion. The company recorded a net loss of $1.2 million, or 44 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter ended Feb. 28 was up 24% to $9.4 million from $7.6 million. For the first nine months, the company recorded a net loss of $1.7 million, or 56 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $1.8 million, or 67 cents a share, for the comparable nine-month period a year earlier. Revenue increased 17% to $28.1 million from $24 million.
