H. Clint Burris has been named advertising sales manager for the Ventura County Edition of The Times.
“Clint Burris brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this assignment,” said Ron Mann, Ventura County and San Fernando Valley advertising sales director, who announced the appointment.
Burris, a 24-year veteran of The Times, most recently has been automotive advertising manager for the Southeast and South Bay areas of Los Angeles County.
He is a graduate of California State Los Angeles, with a bachelor’s degree in journalism / advertising / public relations, and is a member of the National Assn. of Market Developers. He lives in Simi Valley.
* Tekelec has hired Jim Caudle to head the company’s sales in its Network Switching Division.
Caudle has worked in the telecommunications industry for more than 20 years, including 18 years with NorTel as its director of sales for switching products.
Tekelec, based in Calabasas, is a marketer of diagnostic systems used to help design and install communications equipment and networks.
