Age for Execution

Re Assembly Speaker Cruz Bustamante’s statement that, with a tear in his eye, he would consider voting to execute “hardened criminals” as young as 13 or 14 years old, April 11:
It comes as no surprise that a nation that permits the abortion of its unborn would also consider the execution of its children. The horror continues to build.

* So Gov. Pete Wilson and Bustamante are open to the execution of 13- and 14-year-olds. What a way to solve the crime problem! I should think it would be easier to rehabilitate the very young than it would be to rehabilitate older criminals. I’ll bet they are both in the front row in church on Sunday.
