Re “Armenian School Adds New Classrooms,” April 8.
Hats off to the families, students, faculty and staff of AGBU Manoogian--Demirdjian School. It’s quite gratifying to know that the large Armenian populace in the Los Angeles area has solved the dilemma of ensuring continuance of ethnic and cultural exposure within their communities and has discovered that attempts at bilingual education can be successfully maneuvered. And both are done without placing hefty tax burdens on non-Armenian Californians.
