Reward Renewed in JonBenet Slaying
The $100,000 reward offered in the unsolved slaying of JonBenet Ramsey was renewed in a newspaper advertisement. The reward was initially offered in early January with $50,000 put up by the Ramseys and the other $50,000 offered by the Globe tabloid newspaper, which had run crime-scene photographs. The Ramsey family later said it was establishing the JonBenet Children’s Foundation to administer the reward, and the foundation sponsored the ad in the Boulder Daily Camera. The child beauty queen, 6, was found dead at her wealthy parents’ home Dec. 26.
